In Australia, International Women’s Day, celebrated on 8 March , is a time to recognise and celebrate the achievements of women and to call for action to achieve gender equality, with the 2025 theme being “March Forward: For all women and girls”.

HakkaWA welcomes new members. Membership is open to anyone over the age of 16, who is of Hakka origin or has a Hakka connection.
