31st World Hakka Conference

The 31st World Hakka Conference June 24-26, 2022, in City of Markham, Ontario.

The World Hakka Conference is one of the most influential events for Chinese people in the world, a bridge for Hakka people at home and abroad to communicate with each other and conduct cross-country and cross-regional exchanges, to promote economic cooperation and business exchanges. The Hakka people living in Canada are willing to contribute to the realization of this ideal by introducing the “World Hakka Conference” to North America. The 29th World Hakka Conference Co-chairs and Hakkas worldwide, and won the bid to host the 31st World Hakka Conference. The 31st World Hakka Conference with the theme “Hakka Reunion & World Harmony”, was planned for October 2021. Due to the pandemic, the conference is postponed to June 24-26, 2022, in the City of Markham, Ontario. It is the first-ever World Hakka Conference taking place in Canada. Thousands of attendees from China, Canada, and many countries worldwide. It is our hope that the gathering of global fellow Hakkas and friends of all ages will lead to meaningful exchanges, especially for the younger generations, as we discuss current hot topics and explore opportunities together and findways to contribute to the welfare of mankind.

HakkaWA New Year Celebrations 2021
